Our mystery guest was in 43 films from 1924 through 1935. Short comedies were a speciality, but she was also in a few features. Her birth name was Tibbets when she arrived in 1908, and she left with that name when she died in 2000.

ReplyDelete"Films of Nancy Carroll" and
noticed that Frances Lee was in
"Chicken A la King". She and Nancy
played a couple of "high stepping
chorines". Although it is not a
short, it stars Ford Sterling and
from the plot it is obviously a
knockabout comedy.
